Privacy
A plain-language notice for the waitlist, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
What we keep when you join
- Your email address
- Which form you used (top of the page, bottom of the page, or the join page)
- The version of the wording you saw under the form
- A keyed fingerprint of your internet address, used only to stop abuse (never the address itself)
- When you joined, and how many times you signed up
- Short-lived counters of signup attempts, keyed by fingerprints of your email and internet address, deleted after about two days
Why
To email you about early access, and to stop automated signups.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or share your email. This site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no cookies. Fonts are served from this site, so your browser doesn’t contact anyone else.
Where it’s kept
In a Postgres database. We’ll name the database provider and the region it runs in here before signups open.
How long, and how to leave
We keep it until early access opens or you ask us to delete it. Every email we send will have an unsubscribe link.
A contact address for privacy requests will be published here before signups open.
If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we never email you again. If you ask us to delete it, we keep only a keyed fingerprint of the address, so nobody can sign it up again. To rejoin later, email us.
The reTrade product
This notice covers this website and its waitlist only. How the reTrade app handles account data will have its own notice before the app opens.
